My friend Tom runs the Coconut Grove Grapevine, an awesome resource for everything Grove. He wrote yesterday about the events of the Coconut Grove Arts Festival that will attract anywhere from 12-20,000 people from all over the globe! The Marina where we live is located right in the middle of the affair and I beginning to feel like a caged animal. Streets are barricaded off by chain link fence and security officers were asking us for "credentials". We were just coming back from dinner in the Cocowalk. Can we go home now? Luckily, my license actually states 3400 Pan American as my physical address, can't argue with that I guess. With any luck I will get out of here this morning with no problems and be able to escape this madness and enjoy the madness that will be Downtown with the Miami Boat Show!
