| This is a sign of progress! |
While sometimes we go for long periods between blog posts, it's not to say we aren't doing anything! We have been doing our daily routine, work school, yoga, but we have also been plugging away at little things. Can't tell what that is in the photo above?? It's a roll of "teak- like" flooring obtained locally here in Fort Lauderdale by
Seafarer Marine. One of the yachts I worked on had this material throughout the crew quarters and I really enjoyed the way it felt on my feet (not slippery), easy to clean and it just looked nice! After seeing that the price is just as nice without the hassle of real Teak & Holly installation I had convinced GR who was skeptical!
We picked up the roll last week, it must be installed with some super heavy duty glue and as of right now it's been cut and is just laying in the Guest Head. The change is amazing! (Due to the lack of a camera pics have been delayed!) We plan to use this material in all three heads and we should be done by the end of the month. Next order of business will be ordering our heads, again, that's marine speak for toilets! Fun! Fun! Fun!
